SUAI Campus

The main building of the university, this historic site was built in 1847 for the officer corps of the Life Guards Cavalry Regiment. It was transferred to the university in 1960. The Rector’s Office, administrative, educational and scientific divisions of the University, most of the Dean’s Offices, as well as the Admissions Committee are located here.

The building is located in the historical center of St. Petersburg opposite the Yusupov Palace, next to the Central Naval Museum and the Main Post Office. The nearest metro stations are Sennaya Ploshchad, Sadovaya, Spasskaya and Admiralteyskaya.

The first ‘home’ for the university was the building of the Chesma Palace, an architectural monument of the 18th century) located at Gastello Street, 15. The historic building was handed over to the university in 1941 and since then has been a legendary place for dozens of generations of LIAP-SUAI graduates. At present, on the basis of the Institute of Fundamental Training and Technological Innovations, junior courses of ‘technical’ specialties are being trained here, as well as classes at the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Additional Professional Education. This academic building houses the Institute of Entrepreneurship Technologies and Law.

The building is located near the Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, which is part of the historical architectural ensemble of Chesma. The nearest metro station is Moskovskaya.

This building houses the Faculty of Secondary Professional Education of SUAI and the SUAI Engineering School. It is located in the Moscovsky district, the nearest metro stations are Elektrosila and Park Pobedy.
