SUAI welcomes the head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia on the day of the 80th anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad

At the SUAI site, Valery Falkov, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia addressed the staff and students of universities and scientific institutes.

He spoke about the selfless contribution of teachers and scientists of besieged Leningrad to the defense of the Motherland.

As part of the events dedicated to the complete liberation of Leningrad, SUAI opened an exposition called "They fought for the Motherland", organized by the MiG patriotic student club. Kirill Kononov, a student of SUAI, being part of a team that is engaged in the reconstruction of the military sanitary service of the Red Army, bit by bit collects objects that tell about the fate of people.

Valery Falkov got acquainted with the results of SUAI's participation in the Priority 2030 program. The Minister was presented with the successful developments of the university, developed for the State Corporation Roscosmos and other aviation industrial enterprises.

In 2022, an Electromagnetic Anechoic Chamber - a unique installation for conducting scientific research and development work was opened in SUAI. Specialists for the enterprises of the radio-electronic industry of St. Petersburg are trained here. Valery Falkov also visited the Laboratory of Photonics and Quantum Technologies, the Laboratory of Simulators of the Department of Computing Systems and Networks and the Laboratory of Monitoring and Control of Natural Engineering.
