The University hosted the opening of the VI International Forum on Metrological Support of Innovative Technologies
On March 1, SUAI hosted the VI International Forum on Metrological Support of Innovative Technologies dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Valentinovich Okrepilov
The main goal of the Forum is to share the experience of leading experts in the field of application of modern information and measurement systems in high–tech production, in the fields of aerospace, energy, chemical and oil and gas engineering, economics and organization of metrological support of innovative technologies, as well as in modern research areas of complex technical and information systems.
In her welcoming speech, Rector of SUAI Yulia Antokhina wished all participants of the Forum an interesting interaction with like-minded people and fruitful work.
The Forum was held for the first time in 2019. The number of participants of the event and materials in the proceedings of the Forum is growing every year – more than 270 abstracts have been published this year. The proceedings of the International Forum are an encyclopedia of the latest achievements in the field of instrumentation, current research results, and fundamentally new approaches to quality management at enterprises. Interaction with the real sector of the economy increases the role of the Forum, representatives of enterprises and leading research institutes actively highlight current problems of metrological support for various types of production, present their domestic and import-substituted developments in the field of instrumentation, mechanical engineering and aviation.
The speakers of the Forum were leading experts from Russian and international universities and companies: Oksana Golubeva, First Vice-rector of Polotsk State University named after Euphrosyne Polotskaya (Republic of Belarus), Saurav Dixit, Deputy Dean, Director of International Cooperation at K. R. Mangalama University (India), Oleg Lebedenko, representative of the production company Accurate Sales and Services (India) and others. The total number of reports in five thematic sections amounted to 150 presentations.
