SUAI rector takes part in the spring meeting of the Russian Committee on Educational Programs of UNESCO
On May 22, Rector of SUAI Yulia Antokhina made a report on the development of cooperation with the CIS, Africa, BRICS and SCO countries at a meeting of the Russian Committee for UNESCO Educational Programs in RUDN
The meeting of the committee was chaired by Vladimir Mikhailovich Filippov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, President of the RUDN, Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission. The rector of SUAI Yulia Anatolyevna Antokhina and the deputy head of the UNESCO Department Oksana Viktorovna Novikova took part in the meeting.
A brief overview of the issues and problems discussed at the UNESCO International Conference on Education Statistics (Paris, February 2024) was presented during the event and the proposals for the domestic coordination of the provision of statistical data were discussed. The question of the study of the UNESCO Institute of Statistics on formal education was voiced by Senior Adviser to the secretariat of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, K.A. Gaverdovskaya.
V.K.Egorov, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of UNESCO Chairs of the Russian Federation, spoke about the development of cooperation with the countries of Africa, BRICS and the CIS following the meetings of the Coordinating Committee of UNESCO Chairs of the Russian Federation and the National Council of UNESCO Associated Schools of the Russian Federation. N.M. Pruss, President of the TISBI University of Management, National Coordinator of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network in the Russian Federation, shared her experience in this field.
Yulia Anatolyevna Antokhina spoke about the events held on the basis of SUAI and the projects implemented by UNESCO in partnership with China, India, South Africa, Uzbekistan, Belarus and other partner countries.
