SUAI national team becomes the winner of the BRICS International Championship+

The event was held in Kazan on the basis of the International Competence Center — Kazan College of Information Technology and Communications with the help of distributed technology platforms in the BRICS+ countries.

The championship was organized by the BRICS Business Council, the International Platform for the Development of Skills and Professions, the Agency for the Development of Professions and Skills, and the International Center for Information Technology and Communications.

The goal of the Championship is to promote technological cooperation and create cooperative projects and products of the BRICS+ countries, assist in the implementation of educational exchanges, develop cooperation between educational organizations, and train personnel for joint scientific research. The number of participants in the final stage of the Championship was about 1000 people from 13 countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Vietnam, Colombia, Philippines, El Salvador). The event was attended by representatives of companies, corporations of the BRICS+ countries; representatives of educational organizations of higher and secondary vocational education of the BRICS+ countries.

One of the main and most spectacular venues of the Championship was the International UAS Hackathon. It was an international practical workshop aimed at collecting the best practices of specialists in the field of development, production and operation of unmanned aircraft systems. Based on the results of the implementation of industry tasks, requirements for world-class specialists were formed.

The SUAI national team performed in 5 competencies at the Championship and received gold, silver and bronze medals.
