November 6
The IV International Forum on Mathematical Methods and Models in High-Tech Production held in SUAI
The event brought together about 300 participants from scientific institutions in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, who presented a total of more than 250 reports
The goal of the Forum is to share experience in the field of application of innovations in the field of information technology and the use of modern methods of mathematical modeling in high–tech industries – both in theoretical and applied aspects.
The scientific event is dedicated to the Day of Mathematics of the Russian Federation, which this year will be celebrated for the first time. The professional date of the adepts of the "queen of sciences" was set on December 1 – the birthday of Nikolai Ivanovich Lobachevsky, an outstanding scientist who laid the foundation for non-Euclidean geometry, whose works formed the basis for many discoveries of the Russian mathematical school.
As the rector of SUAI, Yulia Antokhina noted in her welcoming speech, participation in the Forum will allow scientists to discuss the directions of development of mathematical sciences and their applied importance for the sustainable growth of competitiveness of knowledge-intensive industries.
The work of the forum Forum was organized in five sections:
- Fundamental mathematics as the basis of high–tech production
- Mathematical modeling of physical phenomena in solid body, liquid and gas
- Mathematical methods and models in instrumentation and radio electronics
- Mathematical methods in IT and AI
- Modeling of natural engineering systems, metrology and quality management
