Results of the III Regional Export Week

From November 26 to 28, the III Regional Export Week was held at the Expoforum Exhibition Center as part of the Russian Industrialist International Forum-Exhibition.

The event was organized with the support of the Committee on Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade of St. Petersburg, Russian Export Center, the Export Support Center of St. Petersburg and the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

The Export Week has become a unique platform for young professionals in the field of foreign economic activity, bringing together representatives of universities, business, regional and federal executive authorities, as well as foreign partners. The event was attended by students and teachers from 12 leading universities in Russia.

— We are participating in the Regional Export Week for the second time, this year we co-organized the event and provided participants with cases on international negotiations. We hope for further cooperation with SUAI, — said Svetlana Balakireva, co-organizer of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The event included a panel discussion with representatives of foreign economic activity, as well as SUAI representatives Director of the Institute of Business Technologies and Law Arthur Budagov and Professor of the Department of International Entrepreneurship Tatyana Kolesnikova. The round table «Peculiarities of business development and promotion in Latin America» was presented by experts from Latin America who work both in the Latin American market and import goods to Russia from the region. There was also a discussion on «Analysis of the attractiveness of foreign countries for Russian exporters», at which SUAI students presented their cases on export activities.

Sofia Chepurnova, a graduate of St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, has developed an information system that will help in the selection of a sparring partner for martial arts.

Sparring in martial arts is one of the most effective methods of training an athlete. This event is more important than just practicing punches or defensive techniques. Here, an athlete, unlike a real fight, does not seek to win, his main task is to improve professional skills. And it’s also an opportunity to try out new punches and techniques. Therefore, the selection of a sparring partner is very important.

Automation of the process makes it easier to organize sparring sessions and minimize the risk of injury. The need to create such a program appeared at the sports club «Constellation». Its concept was developed with the participation of the honored coach of Russia in French boxing Sergey Bulanov and already has a practical purpose.

The program is based on an algorithm for the automatic drawing of participants in competitions, taking into account their gender, weight, age and athletic prowess.

To date, the system allows you to solve the issue of optimization for a narrow range of martial arts, but with successful implementation and operation, it may well cover a wider area of contact martial arts.
